Concept Selling
With the rising cost of the traditional fully comprehensive
major medical plans it is necessary to have an alternative
to offer your clients. We have just the package that will
set you apart from the average agent on the street. You may
call this a total coverage concept, bundling or just plain
common sense selling. This type of sale calls for a client
who wants to limit their exposure and mainly cover
catastrophic events. Here we would recommend using a high
deductible plan, either a Catastrophic plan or a HDHP for an
HSA. Using a higher deductible significantly reduces the
premium and allows us to build a plan. First to add on is
our stand alone accident plan from AHIB, that offers a
$5,000 benefit with a $100 deductible per incident and per
person! A more comprehensive coverage to add on is our
HEALTHCARD from Homeland. This has a $5,000 accident
benefit, three tier drug coverage, vision coverage and a
Tele Doc service. Either of these plans now covers that high
deductible due to an accident! On the catastrophic side we
have Chesapeake and Occidental Life. This coverage offers a
20 year term life insurance base with a CRITICAL ILLNESS
rider that pays a lump sum cash benefit when diagnosed with
one of the policy conditions. By offering this total concept
sale to your client you have really given them a broader
range of coverage for LESS money than a traditional fully
comprehensive plan.
